News: Planet of the Dead Gallery Enhanced

The Radio Times have enhanced their Planet of the Dead gallery with more images following release of the trailer online and on TV this evening - and it includes a close up of the "flappy things with teeth"! Are they the Tritovore? We may not know until broadcast, but one thing is for sure - they're impressive-looking CGI if the trailer is anything to go by. Like a giant flying mantaray, whatever these beasties are certainly owe a design similarity to the floaty things we saw...

The BBC Press Office has stated that the Doctor Who Easter special, "Planet of the Dead", will air on Saturday, April 11 from 6:45 to 7:45 pm. The Saturday date was posted last week on the Press Office's website, and subsequently withdrawn; it has now been reposted.

At last it's here - the trailer for Planet of the Dead! Whether this is the same trailer set for broadcast tonight at 9pm on BBC One, the same trailer shown at the Celtic Media Festival and the Wales vs Ireland Six Nations Rugby match or a new one entirely isn't clear - but who cares?! Looks great, and I for one cannot wait!
