The Colour of Evil

One of the worst kept secrets in Doctor Who Fandom right now is that most of The Mind of Evil has been successfully restored to colour using the chroma-dots process discovered a little while ago (a process in which colour information can be recovered from a black and white film print made from an original colour production). The secret is so badly kept that this screen-cap made from Episode Two of the recoloured story has been floating around the internet. The process did not work on Episode 1 of the story so another way will have to be found to restore the colour, but in did work for Episodes 2 to 6. And personally, I can not wait to see it!

Reminder

Posted: 06 Sep 2009 07:22 AM PDT

Hi-di-ho, peeparinos! Just to remind anyone who's thinking of entering our uber awesome Bubble Shock! contest, you only have 48 hours left to submit your entries! :) We kicked off the contest three weeks ago by offering our readers the chance to win a genuine SJA prop from Invasion of the Bane. Three weeks on, and I've seen some truly epic contenders in the submissions thus far! It's usually the lead-up to a deadline, though, that brings out the best in people. So if you've been struck by a creative notion, don't be afraid to act on it!

You've got to be in it to win it and all that shizzle.

And, just to sweeten the pot of goodies already up for grabs, I'm going to be throwing in a few CBBC goody bags I scored from the See Me On CBBC event in Manchester last weekend. Nothing too major on its own, but when coupled with a Bubble Shock! bottle, an Enemy of the Bane script page signed by Tommy Knight and a patronship at Gallifrey Base - you're looking at a truly formidable prize package that cannot be missed!

If you want to enter, attach your submission to a new message and email it here. Deadline for entries is midnight on September 8th, 2009...though I do have a little leeway for different timezones. =3 Good luck to all!

They call it: The Christmas Project!  In a nutshell, we’ve decided to create a scrapbook over the next few months which we plan to send to...
