| Posted: 10 Sep 2009 09:17 PM PDT A little slow in posting this due to the recent contest taking up my time, but if you hadn't already noticed a fortnight ago - the Official SJA website has been given a sleek new facelift! According to our contact at Carbon Studio [the web designers for the first and second series] most of the work was done in-house by the BBC this year. Which would explain why the new make-over looks so similar to the BBC's Doctor Who site. Carbon Studio did, however, help construct the Trailer Maker and much of the interactive flash content. But personally, I wish they'd done the whole thing. They're great at what they do! The BBC claim we can still access all our 'favourite videos and games from Series 1 & 2.' But I don't see any sign of last year's popular Memory Mayhem game... Seems a shame to have spent so much money filming and editing all those clips of Clyde and the Trickster, only to discard it... We do, however, have plenty of new content to look forward to - with the BBC teasing at the arrival of the 'Monster Hunt'. Sounds quite exciting; consider my interest piqued! In other news, our contest! A big thank you to all our entrants for their participation. Your submissions are getting forwarded onto our judges for critiquing over the weekend, and a voting system should be up by the end of next week. Those who couldn't participate in our contest this time around, fear not! You'll have another chance in the near future. The prizes will be different, however - but hopefully equally rare. Stay tuned! Final note, to anyone in London tomorrow... Drop by the Thames Festival at noon for the See Me On CBBC Tour, and you may just run into me! | ||

| Posted: 10 Sep 2009 08:20 PM PDT According to reports online (both in the GallifreyBase forum and various mainstream publications) former Doctor Who co-star Billie Piper was snapped on location at Neath Abbey yesterday. Obviously if true this is a massive spoiler - yet the evidence is inconclusive at this point save long distant snaps that show a blonde lady in a floral dress. Local radio presenter Jay Curtis was on the set and told reporters various vague details and aimless speculation, but nothing of any real substance -... | ||
