| Tommy Knight donates money to Demelza Posted: 06 Aug 2008 08:09 AM CDT A few weeks ago, Tommy Knight [Luke] attended The Oncoming Storm - a Doctor Who convention where signed autographs, did fan photoshoots and even took part in an SJA panel. He and Daniel Anthony [Clyde] generously decided to donate their earnings for the day to a cause Tom supports, the Demelza House Children's Hospice. Today, I had the oppurtunity to go down to Kent and see Tommy present his cheque to Demelza. ![]() Coupled with special eBay auctions and additional donations, he's managed to raise well over £1200! Well done, Tommy! And well done to Daniel Anthony, who was unfortunately unable to attend. The money will make all the difference to enhancing the lives of children at the hospice! | ||

| Posted: 06 Aug 2008 12:28 AM CDT Canadians rejoice! Season Two of Torchwood cometh! Canada's Space: The Imagination Station picked up series two when Torchwood co-producer Canadian Braodcasting Company elected not to air Torchwood for its second season. The two hour season premere will air on Friday, August 8th at 9:00pm EDT Because of the CBC's involvement with season one, Space: TIS won't be able to air the first season episodes, nor any of the Doctor Who series, which may cause a little confusion amongst newer viewers to the series. So the fine folks at Space: TIS have put up a good web presence to help Canadians who are new to the show get up to speed. Space: TIS also has an interview with John Barrowman available on it's blog as well. | ||
