| Posted: 05 Nov 2008 11:57 PM CST A brand-new set of four SJA novelisations went on sale across the country today. Priced at a mere £3.50 each down your local Tesco, the set includes the last two stories of the first series, as well as the first two of the second series. ![]() The books were put out on Tesco shelves well-ahead of their November 6th release, which I sneakily took advantage of when I popped into the store last night for some grocery shopping. At first glance, the covers look GORGEOUS! ![]() This morning, I had another surprise when a shiney new SJA audiobook arrived in the post! Again, well in advance of its November 13th release date! The Time Capsule, written by Peter Anghelides, is one of two brand spankin' new SJA audiobooks coming out this year. Having just finished listening to it though, I have a feeling I'll probably like Ghost House more. I like how the new audiobooks incorporate music to build suspense, and aren't entirely dependant on Elisabeth's Sladen's voice. Speaking of which, she still seems to struggle with her Clyde Langer impersonation =P As for the story itself, the title seems to be a little misleading. But I'll leave it to you to make up your own minds when the audiobook comes out next week. To promote the release of the four novelisations, two audiobooks and even the SJA first series boxset, the Oxford Street branch of Borders are playing host to a once-in-a-lifetime signing event! The Out Of This World Sarah Jane Signing will allow SJA fans to meet Elisabeth Sladen, Tommy Knight and Daniel Anthony [Sarah Jane, Luke and Clyde respectively] and even have the oppurtunity to sit in on a unique storytelling session by Lis! The event takes place on Saturday, November 15th 2008 from 12 noon to 4pm - and is the place to be for any and all SJA fans! Yours truly will be gracing the store with his presence as a rep for SJ.tv, so be sure to say hi! You can spot me easily. If all goes well, I'll be carrying a red balloon à la Day of the Clown(!) | ||
