Russell Tovey (Voyage of the Damned's Midshipman Frame) reads The Eyeless, an enthralling story of a haunted planet and a terrifying super-weapon from BBC Audiobooks and written by veteran Doctor Who novelist Lance Parkin. At the heart of the ruined city of Arcopolis is the Fortress. It’s a brutal structure placed here by one of the sides in a devastating intergalactic war that’s long ended. Fifteen years ago, the entire population of the planet was killed in an instant by the...

Three audio play episodes running 45 minutes will air in Radio 4's Afternoon Play slot in June, reports Torchwood.tv, with the full cast plays apparently set after the previous audio play Lost Souls and before the upcoming Children of Earth should premier days after the plays.
