News: Brilliant Send-Off

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 09:57 AM PDT

John Simm has been chatting again (the third time in a week!), this time with BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat - he's full of praise for the upcoming Doctor Who finale that will round off the David Tennant era... Those lovely people at Silva Screen Records have delivered a real audio treat for fans of 1960’s Sci-Fi. This is the first time that the music from the two Doctor Who movies, Dr.Who And the Daleks and Daleks’...

"The Doctor Who Effect" has been attributed to supporting the economy of South Wales, from enhancing film and TV production to increasing tourist numbers, particularly in places where the series has been filmed. However no one seems to have told Pete Hall, who runs Halls bookshop on Llandaff High Street - he's angry that the BBC are planing to film in the village shortly, which will involve closing off some roads. Mr Hall, 47, said: “We received a letter from the location...
