| Posted: 01 Oct 2009 10:48 PM PDT Anyone checked out the official SJA website recently? No? Oh boy, are you missing out! The home page has been updated with a rather epic Youtube-esque multi-ending game, offering its players their first real glimpse of a Blathereen! For those SJA fans who don't go to CBBC events or visit fansites or forums, I can think of no finer way to spread awareness about the creature's highly-anticipated arrival on the show! The well-directed videos within the game boast stunning sets of apocalyptic carnage and gritty camerawork eerily reminiscent of horror movies like 28 Days Later or The Blair Witch Project. ![]() In my humble opinion, it's some of the best interactive content I've seen on the SJA website since the show first began. Indeed, Clyde's Memory Mayhem game from last year seems all but forgetten [no pun intended]! The official site also got updated with some GORGEOUS series three wallpapers yesterday, including the new cast promo pics we've eagerly been waiting for! *squee!!!* Here's what my desktop looks like at the mo': ![]() A few weeks ago I hinted at how the new publicity shots would feature a "different coloured background and use an interesting technique where the cast have more interactivity with the picture elements." Well the above is what I was talking about :) I'm relieved I kept my description vague back then, 'cause I don't think mere words could do the awesomeness of the final product any justice! No doubt the official site's going to plonk up more squee-inducing content in the lead-up to the third series premiering. With all that they've done already, I'm starting to wonder how they'll top themselves tomorrow?! | ||

| News: Paul McGann: Return Unlikely Posted: 01 Oct 2009 06:40 PM PDT Former Doctor Who Paul McGann has admitted that it is unlikely he will ever make any form of return to our screens as the eighth incarnation of the Time Lord. Although enjoying a popular and long run on audio with Big Finish, Paul McGann's televised Doctor Who career lasted for not even the entire duration of the 1996 TV Movie. Since then, rumours of his return have abounded, with only a few even half true. "It's highly unlikely, because since I walked off that set in 1996, no one's... | ||
