| Colin Baker joins Weta in London Posted: 21 May 2008 09:04 AM CDT Colin Baker joins Weta in London Colin Baker – The sixth Doctor – joins Weta in London Weta will have a Doctor on hand at our stand at the MCM Expo in London this weekend, 24-25 May. Not just any doctor, of course, but the sixth incarnation of the Doctor, Colin Baker. This ties in with the first viewing and European launch of Weta’s range of Doctor Who collectibles. The full range will be displayed at the show and is likely to attract a lot of attention. As all fans will be aware, Colin Baker played the role of the Doctor from 1984-1986 and is fondly remembered by many. Colin had an interesting interpretation of the character, and fans were disappointed that it was never fully realized or explored before the show was put on hiatus. Colin will be joining us at the stand for the full two days, talking to fans, signing autographs and providing invaluable behind-the-scenes knowledge. Please come and see him at the stand. Also at the stand will be David Tremont, Weta model maker and one of the craftsmen responsible for the new pieces in the Weta range. See previous article. The MCM London show takes place at Excel in London Docklands 24-25 May. Check out the full Doctor Who range at www.wetanz.com/doctor_who and Dr Grordbort’s Rayguns at www.drgrordborts.com.
