| Posted: 11 Mar 2011 09:00 PM PST Looks like Season 32/Series 6 or was it 2/Series Bob, or whatever it is we're calling it these days, will start things off with a bang! At least according to The Grand Moff/Head Writer/Executive Producer/Showrunner, or whatever it is we're calling him these days: Steven Moffat, that is. After his initial reaction to seeing a nearly completed version of episode one/the as yet untitled first episode/Story Number 218, or whatever it is we're… oh you get the point by now… Steven commented/tweeted:
Now, I don't know about you, but if the guy who wrote the story is that excited after seeing an unfinished edit, then I can only imagine how the rest of us are going to feel watching in total surprise when the finished product airs this April! After his last belter of a season opener, The Eleventh Hour, left us in awe it's not a giant leap to assume we're in for quite a ride with this year's. And seeing as the word is that this Series/Season/Who-topia… oh I give up… is supposed to open with a two-parter, it's saying quite a lot about just half of the story to call it a 'Belter'. Bring it on Moffat! | ||
| Online Responsibility of Whovians Posted: 11 Mar 2011 08:25 PM PST Sometimes, there's always a few who try and spoil a fun thing for the rest. That much has become evident over on the Big Finish website as they've had a bit of trouble from some forum members. Some bigotry, prejudice and even bullying have been appearing in some of the forums run by the audio production company, to such an extent that they have shut that section of the website down indefinitely whilst they decide its future. This can sometimes be the way that forums go, certainly in the Doctor Who world. Whilst everyone's opinion is indeed valid and open for discussion, there is always a line that you must remember to draw when getting into a debate with someone. Kasterborous' forum has (luckily) never had to endure this problem as it's filled with good natured and sensible people but as you can see at Big Finish, it only takes one person to bring a whole world crashing down! Whilst this must be terribly inconvenient for the production team at Big Finish, they still want to hear your opinion on their products and they still want your questions for their weekly podcast, Vortex. You can direct questions to the team via emailing either enquiries@bigfinish.com or podcast@bigfinish.com. Big Finish's Facebook page will also remain open for you to leave posts on. Hopefully, things will be back to normal sooner rather than later and everyone will be able to put this behind them. Just remember, good people, we're all here for the same reason – to celebrate a fantastic effort made on a fantastic show. Let's focus on that rather than bickering amongst ourselves. | ||

| Posted: 11 Mar 2011 07:31 PM PST This latest filming pic from episode 12 of Series 6 pretty much speaks for itself. There's little left to say other than it seems the stetson will return despite River Song's best efforts to rid the Doctor of all his hats. And it gives us the clearest look yet at the Doctor's new coat.
