| Posted: 25 Mar 2008 10:23 AM CDT Jo Neary from Huddersfield has a very special Renault Clio - one that will be appearing in Series 4 of Doctor Who! Slaithwaite-based Vehicles in Vision (providers of cars for television, film and adverts) recently paid £75 to Jo to borrow her Renault Clio for an episode of Doctor Who. Frankly I would have thought they were pulling my leg. "I was visiting my sister Clare in Newsome when someone from the company approached me and asked if I would like the car to be on the telly. I was... | ||

| Posted: 25 Mar 2008 02:25 AM CDT "It's a devastating episode," Reviewer Mark Braxton says of series finale 'Exit Wounds' in the latest Radio Times, "The story title is as apt as ever - and a fitting finale to series two." He offers more opinions, but as they refer to events seen during the closing moments of episode twelve, "Fragments" (which hasn't aired on BBC Two yet...) I'll hold of spilling the beans... What I can reveal is that the episode guest stars Kai Owen ("Rhys Williams"), Paul Marc Davis ("Cowled Leader"), Golda Rosheuvel ("Dr. Angela Connolly"), Syreeta Kumar ("Nira Docherty"), Cornelius Macarthy ("Charles Gaskell") and Paul Kasey ("Weevils"). Anybody who has seen the dying seconds of "Fragments", it's safe to highlight two further guest stars - James Marsters plays "Captain John Hart" and Lachlan Nieboer appears as "Gray" (Captain Jack's all-grown up little brother). There's potential spoilers here - but if true they ruin pretty much the whole episode, including who lives, who dies, and everything inbetween. Be warned!! "Exit Wounds" airs Friday 4th April on BBC Two. The same night David Tennant and Catherine Tate are scheduled to appear on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to promote the start of Doctor Who's fourth season - which kicks off Saturday 5th April with opening episode, "Partners in Crime". Amazon.co.uk has a release date of June 2nd for the complete Region 2 DVD release of the series two boxset. That's right; they'll be no individual releases this year - just the one big boxset, which should contain commentaries, full "Declassified" behind the scene episodes, and much else besides! Keep reading for more DVD news. You can pre-order it here. Finally, congratulations to the entire cast and crew on their Hugo Award nomination! The episode in question, "Captain Jack Harkness" has been put up for the 'Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Film' category. It faces tough competition from two Doctor Who stories, "Blink" and "Human Nature"/"The Family of Blood" - as well as an episode of Battlestar Galactica and web-series Star Trek: New Voyages. Who's gonna win? There's only one way to find out...! | ||
