Posted: 06 Mar 2010 02:46 AM PST Gavin & Stacey star and writer James Corden has been snapped on location with Matt Smith over the past few days as filming on Doctor Who continues. Photographed opening a door to the Eleventh Doctor, Corden's character was also seen running with series star Matt Smith as well as having a kickabout in a local park. After being spotted on a train from London to Cardiff and learning lines a few weeks ago, Corden was rumoured to be appearing in Doctor Who, a fact finally confirmed in mid February. An alleged show insider said at the time:
The best news about all of this? It has to be that snaps featuring Corden and former promising footballer Matt Smith kicking a football aren't just "between-take" snaps - there is an actual football match in the episode! See more of these pics at SFX.co.uk. | ||

Posted: 05 Mar 2010 09:30 PM PST Following the crash of co-owner Woolworths as an early casualty of the recession, 2entertain - the publishers behind your Doctor Who DVDs - have finally seen its future secured thanks to a full purchase by BBC Worldwide. Originally created in September 2004 as a 60:40 joint venture with Woolworths (which combined the former VCI video/DVD, music and TV production business with BBC Worldwide's video publishing arm) 2entertain has been for sale since 2008. The agreed price of £17m for the purchase of the outstanding 40% minority stake in 2|entertain has been funded from existing cash at BBC Worldwide, which has no access to licence fee income.
