| Posted: 17 Jun 2008 10:56 AM CDT In anticipation of Billie Piper's return as Rose Tyler in this Saturday's episode of Doctor Who (it's called "Turn Left" and features very little of David Tennant) the latest issue of the Radio Times TV listings magazine over here in Britain looks at three of "the Doctor's women" - interviewing Piper herself, Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones) and Catherine Tate (Donna Noble). There's also an interview with executive producer Russell T Davies, who reveals... SPOILER!! ...That Captain Jack and Martha Jones return during the course of episode twelve, "The Stolen Earth". He also indicates that we'll be seeing the rest of the Torchwood team (I'm guessing that means Ianto and Gwen) in action, too. ANOTHER SPOILER!! It's also been confirmed that former Torchwood guest star Julian Bleach (the Ghostmaker, "From Out of the Rain") will be appearing, under heavy make-up, as Davros - creator of the Daleks! You can catch some spoiler-tastic images from the fourth series finale here, via the Sun's website. Meanwhile, DigitalSpy has a preview of Rose's return in "Turn Left" here. Oh, and there's a Captain Jack comic strip published on the BBCi Doctor Who page. Written by script editor Brian Minchin Escape To Penhaxico "takes place after the events of last year's [Doctor Who] Christmas special, Voyage Of The Damned, and features a case of mistaken identity for Captain Jack." It's available to read here! | ||

| Posted: 17 Jun 2008 06:59 AM CDT S4: Avoid the Spoilers! Double your enjoyment of Doctor Who by avoiding spoilers. It's not very often that we write a personal news item here at DWO towers, but as the end of Series Four approaches us fast, you will no doubt be tempted with all sorts of glittering spoilers. I would like to recommend that you try your best to steer clear of them as this years finale will genuinly reward you if you do. Speaking from experience, I used to love finding out what was going to happen...that was until Episode 11 of Series Three, where The Master was revealed to us all. It was then that I realised how much bigger and better the reveal would have been if I hadn't given in to curiosity. Having been editor of DWO for over 12 years now, it can be hard to escape future plot-lines and related spoilers, but you may have noticed throughout 2007/2008, that we deliberately chose to provide a spoiler-free news page. This is a decision we are standing by from now on, so that both DWO readers, and staff can benefit. We hope that you understand and appreciate our decision as we all look forward to the Series Four finale. Discuss this story in the DWO Forums: [Source: Sebastian J. Brook] | ||
